Herebelow the rules everybody is requested to stick to.

RULES OF CONDUCT

The forum comes as a place of research, friendship, sharing and study of the origins of Christianity. It is bound to students, enthusiasts, connoisseurs, beginners, curious and simple spectators who wish to share their research and to test the outcome of their studies.

1. Participants in the forum agree to adhere to the rules of Netiquette
(https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Forum_etiquette).

2. Users believers and non-believers are placed on the same footing. The religious orientation of this forum is nondenominational. Any form of religious propaganda is sanctioned in accordance with the Rules Of Conduct (ref. Article 4).

3. The forum is intended to promote discussion and analysis of thesis inspired and based on scientific criteria. This policy is a mandatory requirement for active participation in the forum.

3.1. It is recommended to follow some general principles in participating in the threads. In particular:
3.1.1. Quoting sources. It is good practice, in line of principle, to declare the source of each statement, so that it is at any moment known and verifiable. The sources need to be quoted correctly, without omission and not totally cut off from their context.
3.1.2. Be clear. The forum will also be consulted by non-experts: one must strive to make a concept understandable to the widest possible number of people. In the items that deal very complex subjects, would be good practice to include at least a brief introduction or a short summary, so as to facilitate understanding by non-experts.
3.1.3. Strive to achieve a neutral point of view (or NPOV). Any believed vulgarity or pretext of a matter must be reported, but does not necessarily constitute ground for cancellation or censorship.

3.2. The copy-and-paste of articles coming from other sites is permitted, as long as their source, their links and their author are clearly declared.
3.2.1. The publication of copyrighted material (extracts of articles, books, etc.) is allowed to the extent and in the manner prescribed by the Copyright law (1) and must be manually transcribed, being prohibited to post scanned copy of pages of such works. It is also recommended to respect and apply the limits of use fixed by the publisher of a work.

4. Users who violate the Rules Of Conduct will receive a formal warning from the staff (moderators and/or administrators). Against this recall, those who persist in incorrect attitudes will be “banned”, which produces the exclusion of the user from active participation in the forum for a period of variable duration. This period will be commensurate with the seriousness of the misconduct and will be increased in case of recurrence of the user, at sole discretion of the moderators and/or administrators.

5. Users who wish to participate in the discussions are required to write a message in the relevant section, indicating their skills, their interests and their expectations from the forum.
